The Universe - Workshop 4

This workshop entailed using 2D vector images in 2.5D space on After Effects. To simply break it down, After Effects is a software that can be used to create animations but in a 2D space whereas software like Cinema4D enables animators to animate in 3D space. 2.5D is as close to 3D animation in After Effects as one can get.

My project inspiration for this workshop was MGMT - All We Ever Wanted Was Everything where I tried to recreate the folding technique on certain vector objects. The camera movement shows sophistication, in that, pulling it backwards reveals objects making the overall music video curiosity-driven. I tried to recreate a similar objective using the same technique.
